Additional Details: Ruby or "Bahram" is a type of red, crystalline corundum which is considered the hardest mineral after diamond. The hardness of ruby is 9 on the Mohs scale. Ruby is a mineral of igneous and metamorphic rocks and is considered a type of alumina (aluminum oxide) which may contain a small amount of impurities from elements such as titanium, copper, manganese, chromium, and iron. The presence of these impurities causes different colors such as blue, yellow, purple, pink, orange, and red in the sapphire. Sapphires that have a color other than red and pink are called "Blue Sapphire," and red and pink sapphires are known as "Ruby."

The brilliant-cut diamond has received more attention from the past to the present due to its standard cutting shape. A round diamond has 58 facets and is divided into three parts. The uppermost part is called the crown, and the middle part is called the girdle. The extraordinary light reflection of this cut has turned it into a diamond that never goes out of fashion and has the most brilliance.

The baguette cut in diamond is one of the oldest types of diamond cuts, shaped like a rectangle, a wide and flat plate with cut corners, which is also called a step cut. This model also has its own special fans, and although it has less attractiveness than the brilliant cut, the reflection of light in it is very lively and dazzling.
